Here you can see the two diodes arrowed

Once dissmantled you should be left with two diodes, the one youwant is the 3 pin diode, NOT the 4 pin diode.

I took the insides of a leadlight red laser out, i used the existing switch from the leadlight pointer and just added a new boast driver for the bu-ray diode
