It does your normal pretty patterns, its good fun but nothing special.

I opened it up and took the red laser out -

I made a simple plastic platform to place the red and green laser on side by side and hot glue gunned it down. I then used two AA battery holders to mount the lasers in, I just cut the ends off.

I next wired the lasers up, aligned them correctly with the two mirrors and hot glue gunned them down -

Next I added two switches, so I could have both or one or the other lasers on at any time -

and hey presto a 5mw, red and green laser scanner. I found the power going to the existing red laser to low to power the green as well, so I used the two middle slots of the existing battery holder in the bottom of the crab to power the green -
